Bitly shortened URLs can be trackable or non-trackable. To be trackable you need to create an account with Bitly by easily entering in few pieces of information.<\/p>\n<p>In Bitly, short links are referred to as bitmarks. Bundles are a collection of short links or \u201cbitmarks\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Directions for creating short links:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Go to:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bitly.com\/\">bitly.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Non-Trackable links:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\">1. Paste in a link at the top to have it shortened automatically<br clear='none'\/>\n2. New page shows up with your newly shortened link<br clear='none'\/>\n3. There is a button to easily copy it and share it<\/p>\n<p>Trackable links:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;padding-left: 30px\">1. After creating your account, go to your home page (called \u201cYour Stuff in Bitly)<br clear='none'\/>\n2. Paste in a link at the top to have it shortened automatically<br clear='none'\/>\n3. A summary of the contents of the link and how many clicks it has received show up in \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 timeline<br clear='none'\/>\n4. Short links you have created are displayed in your timeline chronologically<br clear='none'\/>\n5. You can click on \u201cView stats\u201d to see more detailed information about how many people \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 clicked through and when they did it.<br clear='none'\/>\n6. Click on your user name in top right corner, then click tools<br clear='none'\/>\nFrom here you can:<br clear='none'\/>\n&#8211; install a Chrome extension to creak short links from your browser<br clear='none'\/>\n&#8211; Download Bitly for your phone<br clear='none'\/>\n&#8211; Get WordPress Plugin for Bity<br clear='none'\/>\n7.
